Zapier

Trigger any of 6,000+ Zapier apps — built on top of the webhook destination.

Zapier is a webhook destination with a friendlier label. Send leads from Innkept into any of Zapier's 6,000+ apps — Notion, Slack, Mailchimp, Airtable, Google Sheets, Trello.

How it works

The Zapier integration uses the same payload and signature mechanism as the Webhook destination. The only difference is the user-facing label and the suggested setup flow:

  1. In Zapier, create a new Zap.
  2. Pick the Webhooks by Zapier trigger.
  3. Choose the Catch Hook event.
  4. Copy the unique webhook URL Zapier gives you.
  5. In Innkept, open Integrations → New integration → Zapier.
  6. Paste the webhook URL, save.
  7. Submit a test lead from your configurator.
  8. Back in Zapier, click Test trigger — Zapier should pick up the lead.
  9. Build the rest of the Zap — pick an action app, map the fields you want.

Common Zaps

ActionWhy
Slack — post to channelNotify the team the second a new lead arrives.
Google Sheets — append rowBuild a quick reporting dashboard.
Notion — create pageDrop the lead into a Notion CRM-style database.
Mailchimp — add subscriberDrip-email anyone who didn't book.
Trello — create cardTrack leads visually on a Kanban board.
Airtable — create recordLightweight CRM with nicer filters than Sheets.

Field mapping in Zapier

The full payload structure is documented in Webhook payload v1. Zapier surfaces every field as a "step output" you can drag into your action — no field mapping config needed inside Innkept.

Signing

The Zapier destination still includes the X-Innkept-Signature header. Zapier doesn't verify it by default, but you can verify it inside a Code by Zapier step if you're paranoid. For most setups it's fine to trust Zapier — the unique webhook URL is itself a secret.

Filtering before action

Use Zapier's Filter step to act only on certain leads — e.g. "only Slack me when the event is wedding AND guest count > 100". This lets you keep one Innkept integration but branch behaviour in Zapier.
