Salesforce
OAuth connect; enquiries push as Leads, deduped by email, event details in Description.
Pushes enquiries into Salesforce as Leads, deduped by email — a returning
enquirer updates their existing Lead instead of creating a duplicate. Event details (type,
date, guests, quote total, proposal link) land in the Lead's Description.
Connecting
- In Innkept, open Integrations → New integration → Salesforce.
- Click Connect Salesforce — you'll be redirected to Salesforce to log in and approve access.
- That's it. Tokens refresh automatically; if the org ever revokes access you'll see the error on the integration row.
What gets pushed
| Lead field | From |
|---|---|
FirstName / LastName | Lead name (split on first space) |
Company | The enquirer's name (Salesforce requires it; standard consumer-lead fill) |
Email / Phone | Contact details |
LeadSource | Innkept Quote |
Description | Event type + date, guests, quote total, proposal URL |
Custom fields (e.g. Event_Date__c) map via the integration's
Field mapping rows — pick the payload value on the right, name the
Salesforce field on the left.
Deduplication
Before creating, we query your org for a Lead with the same email. If one exists it's updated in place. Conversion state is untouched — a Lead you've already converted to a Contact/Opportunity won't be resurrected; the update simply fails and shows on the integration row.
