Theming & brand match
Match the configurator to your brand with primary and accent colour overrides.
Two colours, one pair of CSS variables. The widget defaults to Innkept's house palette (warm cream, deep moss green, brass amber) but matches your site as soon as you set Brand colours in Settings → Appearance.
What you can override
| Token | Used for | Default |
|---|---|---|
--ink-primary | Primary buttons, focus rings, active step indicator | #2E4632 (moss) |
--ink-accent | Highlights, success states, completed steps | #C8853A (amber) |
Setting from the dashboard
- Open Settings → Appearance.
- Pick or paste a hex colour for Primary. This should be your main brand colour — usually whatever your Book now button looks like.
- Pick or paste a hex colour for Accent. Use a contrasting colour — gold, terracotta, blush — that complements your primary.
- Save. The next widget config fetch picks up the new values.
What we don't expose
On purpose: typography, border radius, button shapes, animation, layout. The configurator is designed to feel like a guest is filling in your form, but we don't expose every knob — the alternative is a configurator that looks bad on a third of operator sites.
If you want pixel-level control, you can build your own configurator against the public widget API and just use Innkept for storage and integrations. Email hello@innkept.com — we'll point you at the (small) documentation.
Logo on the proposal page
Upload a logo in Settings → Appearance. PNG or SVG, ideally on a transparent background. Shown at the top of every proposal page (and in the header of the proposal email once that ships).
"Powered by Innkept" footer
On the Free plan, the proposal page shows a small Powered by Innkept line in the footer. It's removed automatically the moment you upgrade to Starter or above. We don't put any branding inside the configurator itself — that always feels like it belongs to your venue.
Dark mode
The widget reads prefers-color-scheme from the host page. If your site is
dark-themed, the widget renders in dark mode automatically. Your brand primary and accent are
used in both light and dark variants.
